It definitely seems like we are on the "slow boat to China"!
Ok, so what does the latest update mean????? It means, to put it as simply as possible, that we are still about a year away from getting our referral and maybe a year and a half from traveling.

We are as tired of saying "Still about another year" as you are tired of hearing it.
Yes, things could speed up and the optimist in me wants to believe that, but the realist in me needs to stay somewhat grounded in reality. The reality is we don't know anything, and every month we look to see how many days have been referred to see just how close we are. This month they (China) referred 4 days and there are 129 days to be referred (roughly) before they get to "our day".
17 months waiting and counting!
